SL-6#-i386-<date>-DVD1.iso
SL-6#-i386-<date>-DVD2.iso
Example: SL-69-i386-2016-08-02-DVD1.iso
Example: SL-69-i386-2016-08-02-DVD2.iso
  These two dvd's contain the entire base distribution.
  They do not have any updates or source rpms on them.
  DVD1 and DVD2 are designed to be burned onto DVD media.  You then
    boot your computer off DVD1.
  You will need both DVD1 and DVD2 for a basic install.

SL-6#-i386-<date>-DVD-DL.iso
Example: SL-69-i386-2016-08-02-DVD-DL.iso
  These one dvd contain the entire base distribution.
  They do not have any updates or source rpms on them.
  DVD-DL is designed to be burned onto DVD Dual Layer media.  You then
    boot your computer off DVD-DL.

  These are the CD and DVD live images.
  LiveCD and LiveMiniCD are designed to be burned onto a CD.  
    You then boot your computer off that CD.
  LiveDVD is designed to be burned onto a DVD.  You then
    boot your computer off that DVD.
  You are able to install SL6 onto your computer
    from either LiveCD, LiveMiniCD or LiveDVD.
